SCHQ Burning Questions | Round 4

Each week I’ll answer your Twitter questions for the SCHQ Burning Questions. Let’s get into it.

ONE WEEK FOR DUSTIN MARTIN & NAT FYFE

Both look like they’ll miss a week so it’s an awkward amount of time to hold.

Fyfe you should definitely be holding, because you’ll regret not having him later in the year if you choose to offload him. And you should still have plenty of playing midfield rookies to avoid copping a donut.

Martin though, I would be trading. He’ll miss a week but has seen his midfield minutes drop pretty significantly which says to me he’s a big underdone.

JOSH DUNKLEY DOWN THE DRAIN?

That’s a shame Dan but clearly your side is in a pretty fortunate position if Josh Dunkley is the biggest concern!

For those that are frustrated with Dunkley, I would suggest sticking with him. His start hasn’t set the world on fire but it hasn’t been disastrous either, which is important to remember.

Dunkley obviously benefitted in the absence of Tom Liberatore last season and now has been bumped to half forward upon Libba’s return.

He’s only one injury or one really good game away from more midfield minutes so don’t panic just yet.

JACK DARLING ONE-HIT WONDER

It’s always tough picking which players had a breakout year and which players simply had an outlier of a year.

Unfortunately it looks like Darling’s year was an outlier, and the addition of Oscar Allen means he’s not as crucial to the Eagles’ half forward line.

I’d be trading him on.

LAIRD ON THE CHOPPING BLOCK?

Nah don’t trade Laird. I’ve got him too but we’ve got to ride this out.

ROOKIE SWAP

What’s the gap between Setterfield and Rozee now, like $85k?

It’s not worth it – Setterfield will continue to make money and his job security is pretty good. Hold the trade.
