Welcome back everyone to the latest edition of the FOX Sports Fantasy A-League Form Guide. As per usual, remember to take a look at the latest ins and outs before making your trades this week! Read on below to see who with think are coming in HOT or COLD for this week’s matchups, and let us know in the comments what you think of our preview and if you need any fantasy team advice!
Sydney FC v Melbourne Victory
Jordy Buijis (DEF $161k) – Has cemented his spot in the back and also gets some free kick and corner duties. Value for money.
Bobo (FWD $279k) – Two goals in his past three is suggesting the Brazilian has finally finished adjusting to the A-League conditions, and at the right time too. In form.
Ben Khalfallah (FWD $269k) – What’s going on here no one particularly knows for sure. Has missed the past three altogether. Lost.
Wellington Phoenix v Perth Glory
Kosta Barbarouses (FWD $269k) – Has been involved in the majority of the team’s goals, both directly and indirectly. At home.
Adam Taggart (FWD $254k) – Has amassed 8 goals in his past 11 games since returning from injury. Hard to stop.
Gui Finkler (MID $294k) – Has missed his past two due to personal reasons, but before then has struggled to see out a full 90 minutes. Struggling.
Western Sydney Wanderers v Adelaide United
Tarek Elrich (DEF $203k) – A goal and an assist from the past two isn’t a bad return from a defender. Here’s to hoping midweek commitments won’t stop him. On fire.
Jumpei Kusukami (MID $204k) – Promised plenty but has failed to deliver. A mid-week ACL battering won’t help his cause. Feeling the heat.
Isaias (MID $205k) – The Reds’ top fantasy scorer is currently hampered by a knee problem that is sidelining him indefinitely. Injured.
Central Coast Mariners v Melbourne City
Nick Fitzgerald (FWD $234k) – After scoring a pearler last week, is averaging 8 fantasy points in his past three. Surely will keep his spot playing against his old side. Enjoying the minutes.
Fernando Brandan (FWD $231k) – After a bright start to the season, has struggled to find any consistency, being reduced last week to a substitute appearance. Impact use only.
Fabio Ferreira (FWD $251k) – Perhaps mirroring his side, has struggled to capitalise on the opportunities given to him. More should be expected. Under pressure.
Newcastle Jets v Brisbane Roar
Morten Nordstrand (FWD $247k) – After starting a few games in a row, earnt man of the match honours with an assist to his name too. Rediscovered.
Brandon Borrello (FWD $223k) – Making the most of the opportunities given to him recently, finding form at the right time of the season. Quiet achiever.
Brett Holman (MID $250k) – Not converting many of his chances, and struggling with the pressure of ACL commitments too. Out of touch.
