BBL SCHQ Gayle League Recap – Round 7 & 8

Rounds 7 and 8 saw the BBL clubs jostling for a spot in the top 4 to keep their seasons alive. Chris Lynn locked down a spot in Australia’s T20 squad to face India after blasting 5 sixes in a row off Ben Hilfenhaus early in the round and Samuel Badree took the second 5-for in this year’s competition. Nic Maddinson had a blinder, Shane Watson continued his hot streak of form and Chris Gayle went beserk in the last game of the BBL regular season.

The SCHQ Gayle League semi-finals have been finalised with myself taking on Declan in the 1st-plays-4th matchup and Kyle taking on Matt in the 2nd-plays-3rd.

The first semi-final between the Adelaide Strikers and Sydney Thunder gets underway on Thursday night with the Melbourne Stars hosting the Perth Scorchers on Friday.

There are only two rounds of Big Bash Fantasy to go so make sure to get the most out of your team by downgrading to cheap players on the bench. Good luck!
