BBL SCHQ Gayle League Recap – Round 6

The Melbourne Stars had a strong showing in their double-game round with Peter Handscomb, Glenn Maxwell, Adam Zampa, Kevin Pietersen and Marcus Stoinis scoring well across the two games. Amongst some quality performances, the highlight of the round would have to be Adam Zampa’s spectacular runout off his own forehead.

In the SCHQ Gayle League, Matt, Kyle, Joseph and myself had wins this week meaning there are now four teams on 4 points battling it out for a spot in the semi-finals. The competition couldn’t be tighter and we are all set for a thrilling final two rounds of BBL Fantasy.

This round the Hurricanes play twice but have the bye next round so look to strengthen your side with players from the Cane Train but make sure you have enough bench cover for next round. The Stars have the bye this week but play twice again next round so avoid trading them out if you can.

Good luck everyone and enjoy the BBL double-header today!

  1. Hey Josh,
I’ve got a couple of options for who to get in trades this week:
Option 1) Christian, Russell & Voges
Option 2) Christian, Lyon & Khawaja
    Option 3) Christian, Hussey & Watson/Tye/CMac
Which one is best? If you have any better ideas or better players in mind please feel free to share them with me.
    Thanks

  2. Sorry Pinidu I didn’t get a chance to check the post today. I hope you picked Christian up and Sammy also would’ve been a good option in retrospect.
