Welcome top my Captaincy Bank again! I’ve sustained some form with my selections, but it’s easy when you have an out and out gun like Nat Fyfe to bank.
Another good week for my captain choices with all three cracking the ton including my roughie Robbie Gray going big with 143.
Last round selections: Scott Pendlebury (102), Robbie Gray (143), Nat Fyfe (133)
Jobe is a really good VC choice this week with the Friday night clash. A career average against North is an outstanding 121.
I like the big Sauce this week a lot! Averages 110 against the Saints over his career, who will be exhausted after last week. Tom Hickey and Billy Longer are his opponents this week, very similar to the Brodie Grundy & Corey Gault combo he belted for 141 against Collingwood earlier in the year.
Josh P Kennedy
JPK has been solid as usual, you know what you’re going to get from this guy. However he averages on 94 in his last three against the Cats, so maybe wait for next week when he plays the Hawks who he historically dominates.

The underwhelming Selwood is a roughie this week, but his record against the Swans is very good. He’s averaging 130 in his last three versus Sydney, with a high of 163. Let’s hope he comes back into form.
Danger cannot possibly get any more attention, and the absence of Sloane should improve his midfield time, if only slightly. Average against the Saints is poor, only 67 in his career, but his last three he’s improved gainst them, averaging 92.

Both Josh Kennedys make the list this week following unbelievable circumstances at the Gold Coast. Half their team is out including key backs Rory Thompson and Stephen May. Averages 111 against Gold Coast over his career; the only concern is his elbow injury.
The Brownlow medalist is someone to consider, coming up against a very undermanned Suns. He’s in form (Last three average is 113) and averages 115 against the Gold Coast since their inception in 2011.
I’m happy to leave my C for Fyfe again as he’s got another Sunday game. He’s dominated lately averaging 131 from his last three and averages 110 in his last three against the Doggies.
Gray is in the last game of the round so if you have the in demand Power forward, he’s a natural for C. However, historically he struggles against the Lions, averaging 90 and averaging only 80 at the Gabba.
Mr Consistent plays on Sunday as well, as many of the top options do. Nothing under 100 all year and a last three average versus Richmond is 120, so he’s a very safe choice.
So a nice range of options again this week. My top three choices are:
3. Joel Selwood
2. Sam Jacobs
1. Nat Fyfe
